Pics of Kitchens

If you have a lot of paint chips up on your wall pics of kitchens are a way that you can pretty easily see what other people do as far as accent and cabinet choices go. Here are a few of my favorite kitchen CC photos and the color lessons that can be learned.

I really like these photos more than other design magazines just because it’s pretty easy to replicate it. Plus, it really helps you to see what is possible on a budget or with limited DIY skills. Plus, then it really helps you see what actual real world people can actually accomplish. Not only is it responsible it’s also totally possible.

Usually I would think of green, oil rubbed bronze, and lighter wood tones as being very rustic. However, this next picture totally proves me wrong. The stone, stainless and stained glass door windows make this color palette very elegant. Plus, let’s face it the ceiling fan is one of really the only chic ways to do a ceiling fan, I love that it wasn’t eliminated altogether. I know that painting wood cabinetry is all the rage but this pic really shows why some cabinets should just be left alone.

This next kitchen pic shows how to use bold colors in kitchen spaces. It’s really just focusing a lot on paint to make an impact Plus, the yellow is bright and cheerful without being too overpowering. It was also a great choice to match warm cabinet colors with the tile and wood flooring so the whole color palette is closer together on the color wheel.

One of the most popular kitchen paint colors is white, but this is one of the few kitchens that doesn’t look bland. It’s classic with the wood tones and black color palette along with the chandelier. However, all of these elegant materials together somehow makes it unique. I think without any one of these elements the kitchen wouldn’t be as successful. I also really love how the island is left uncluttered so the pattern of the stone counter is really highlighted.

This next pic is one of my favorites because it brings in tons of accent colors. It’s not totally neutral, but if you ever want to paint your walls green, blue, gray, white, black, or taupe it will still work with this backsplash tile. I also think it’s a wise choice that the walls, cabinets, and countertops were all left pretty neutral so the new backplash project could really shine. I just wish that I had it in my kitchen. It definitely has me rethinking my usual approach that kitchen materials should always stay neutral for durability.
