You could even take pictures of peonies in your garden and use them as new kitchen art.

We are also seeing different variations of gray instead of more of the patchwork effect that was popular a few years ago with all different kinds of slate tones to it. You also might want to consider gray for your trim. This is something that you can use on your cabinetry or your walls. You can use it to have a ceiling medallion or a tray ceiling. Going with a darker trim color and staying away from white contrast trim this will have more of a retro or vintage effect.
